Manchester, N.H.—Despite the pandemic’s forced cancellation of its largest annual fundraiser, CCA Global Partners raised a net of $137,500 to support the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) this past year.

The 18th annual Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament, like many special events, was forced to take a raincheck in 2020. Nevertheless, the flooring community came together to make a difference for peers facing difficult times.

During a typical year, the annual golf tournament brings together business owners, manufacturers, distributors and other industry folks for a fun-filled day of networking and fellowship. Since 2020 was anything but “typical,” CCA said it opted for a safer alternative.

While floor covering industry participants anxiously await the 2021 event scheduled to take place on Sept. 22, 2021, the CCA Global Partners team has prepared an extraordinary commemorative golf book. The book will feature inspiring stories, golf tips from its resident pros and plenty of walks down memory lane.

Charlie Dilks, chief product officer at CCA Global Partners and chairman of the FCIF board, said 2020 was a time for creative solutions; a time when the charity’s mission mattered more than ever. “After facing cancellation of the FCIF’s annual fundraiser, we knew we needed to think outside the box,” he noted. “The CCA team stepped up, and through the generosity of our vendors and partners, we received donations to assist the foundation in lieu of an event this year. The money raised will go a long way toward helping those in need in the floor covering industry.”

Since 2003, the FCIF, via generous peer contributions, has enriched the lives of many individuals. Thanks to the ongoing support within the flooring industry during this unprecedented time, it will now be no different.

The FCIF is funded by manufacturers, retailers, distributers, industry associations, trade media and suppliers from across the floor covering industry. To make a tax-deductible donation or apply for a financial assistance grant, visit the FCIF website.

[Manchester, N.H.] CCA Global Partners has announced that the 17th Annual Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Sept. 18, 2019 at the beautiful Barnsley Gardens Resort.

While the weather did not cooperate for the 2018 event, CCA Global Partners’ 16th Annual Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament still made a significant contribution to the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF). The $160,000 in funds raised will support the foundation in their efforts to financially assist those who are, or have been affiliated with the floor covering industry and have experienced a life-altering hardship, such as a catastrophic illness or a severe disability.

“While we certainly missed the friendly competition and camaraderie of the tournament, it’s rewarding to see all the good we can do when we come together,” said Howard Brodsky, founder and co-CEO of CCA Global Partners. “The industry partners who support this event year after year should be congratulated for their efforts.”

FCIF’s cause draws in not only manufacturers, distributors, retailers, industry trade associations and individuals from the floor covering industry, but supporters from related industries join together in fundraising and support. Their contributions to the FCIF are made through sponsorships and donations of the event. While the event was unfortunately canceled due to inclement weather, the funds raised will still be generously donated to the FCIF.

“We’re already looking forward to next year’s event,” said Rick Bennet, co-CEO of CCA Global Partners. “We hope that the weather will be beautiful and that we can continue to support this organization with the generosity that we have in the past.”

Registration for the 2019 Tournament will open in June. To learn more about the efforts of the FCIF or to apply for aid, please visit www.fcif.org.

CCA Global Partners held their 14th Annual FCIF Golf Tournament at Barnsley Gardens resort located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in September of 2016. Floor covering industry colleagues and leaders gathered for a day full of golf to raise funds for The Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF), a philanthropic organization dedicated to assisting floor covering industry members in times of need.

After a day of friendly competition, the tournament raised $140,000 to help the FCIF in their dedication to financially assisting those who are or have been affiliated with the floor covering industry who experience catastrophic illnesses, severe disabilities, or other life-altering hardships.

“We are fortunate to have this opportunity to bring together business partners and friends to support a worthy cause.” said Howard Brodsky, co-Founder and co-CEO of CCA Global Partners. “We all enjoyed the day of golf, but more importantly we raised significant funds for the FCIF.”

Floor covering industry members and supporters from across the country attended this year’s event. Manufacturers, distributors, retailers, industry trade associations, and individuals from representing these companies contributed to the FCIF through the Alan Greenberg Memorial fund by participating in the tournament as well as through sponsorships, and donations.
