Charles - a devoted husband, father, and grandfather - has dedicated over 10 years to the flooring industry as a maintenance lead technician. In his free time, he finds joy in hunting and fishing. But in January 2024, his life was turned upside down with the diagnosis of Stage 4 cancer and a brain tumor. This life - altering news brought with it immense financial and emotional challenges for Charles and his family, leaving them to navigate an uncertain and difficult road ahead.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, FCIF was able to step in. A grant from FCIF helped cover Charles' mortgage, utilities, and medical care - allowing him and his family to focus on his recovery.
