Sheila worked in the flooring industry for 15 years as a utility relief associate. In 2024, her world turned upside down—first with lung cancer surgery, then a heart attack, followed by kidney failure requiring dialysis three times a week.
A two-time breast cancer survivor, Sheila had already faced more than most. When medical bills and living costs became unmanageable, she turned to the Floor Covering Industry Foundation for support.
Thanks to generous donors, FCIF provided a grant to cover her mortgage, utilities, and medical care.
