Viridiana spent decades working in the flooring industry, mastering skills from heat-set to laminate floors. Outside of work, she loved gardening, growing her own vegetables and flowers.
In June 2024, a massive stroke left Viridiana with severe memory and speech challenges. Her husband, Christian, took two months off work to care for her, causing bills and credit card debt to mount.
The family was connected with the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF), and a grant provided relief—covering medical costs, mortgage payments, utilities, and food. “This support was such a relief,” Christian shared. “Thanks to God and FCIF, I was able to control our debt.”
