William, a 22-year veteran of the flooring industry, has worked as a picker operator, compound operator, color tech, and lab coordinator. In 2012, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and, thankfully, remains in remission. But in June 2021, William faced a new health challenge that causes severe shortness of breath with even minimal activity. With frequent doctor visits and rising medical bills, he and his wife, Kellie, were uncertain about how they’d manage financially.
