Dalton, Ga. – April 22, 2025 – The Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) has released its 2024 Report to the Industry, an interactive flipbook that documents a year of community support, donor impact, and financial assistance for flooring families in  medical crisis. The report features compelling stories, photography, and messages from across the industry, including the story of Maribel, a resilient professional whose journey is highlighted on the cover. As FCIF continues its mission, the organization calls on the flooring community to join its Day of Giving on June 1 to raise critical funds in support of families facing life-altering medical challenges.

Hear the Story Behind the Cover: Meet Maribel
Maribel, a 16-year veteran of the flooring industry and a former tufting machine operator, faced an unimaginable challenge when diagnosed with breast cancer. As medical bills mounted and daily expenses became overwhelming, FCIF stepped in—covering her mortgage, utilities, groceries, and essential care. Her story, featured on the cover and in a moving video, exemplifies the resilience of the industry’s workforce and the critical role donor support plays in times of crisis.
