
Las Vegas, Nv. – Jan. 29, 2026 — As the flooring industry gathered for The International Surface Event (tise) 2026, the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) Board of Directors met on Wednesday, Jan. 28, in Las Vegas to reflect on the foundation’s impact in 2025 and chart a course for even greater support and outreach in 2026. The meeting brought together FCIF leadership and board members focused on strengthening the organization’s ability to provide critical financial assistance to flooring professionals and their families facing catastrophic injury, severe illness or life-changing disability.
FCIF also welcomed new members to its Board of Directors, including Bill Wilson (Abbey), Geoff Gordon (FUSE Alliance), Michel Vermette (AFS Group), Brent Emore (AHF Products), Ralph Grogan (Meridian Adhesives Group) and Carole Cross (Cyncly).
Reflecting on 2025 and Preparing for Greater Impact in 2026
During the meeting, board members reviewed FCIF’s progress in 2025, including raising more than $850,000 to support flooring families facing catastrophic medical hardship. The foundation received applications from 28 different states across the country, representing professionals across manufacturing, installation, retail and other areas of the industry. Board members also discussed plans for 2026 to expand awareness and reach more flooring families in need of support during medical crises.

TISE 2026 provided an opportunity for FCIF to connect with the companies and individuals who help make its mission possible. FCIF staff visited supporters across the show floor, sharing resources, building relationships and capturing moments of connection with the mobile photo booth.
